I brought my family to Bisbee in 1965. My son, Rick played the nine-hole course near Naco at age 6, and fell in love with the game,later playing on a college team. 33 years later, Peter Lawson gave me the opportunity of a lifetime, to design the next nine holes. I've played pro golf on East and West Coasts, and from Texas to Michigan, and never seen a prettier course than Turquoise Valley.

I thought this was a well written article. I do not play golf myself,
but do go to a lot of their fine dinners and intertainmment. This golf course is truly unique. Set in its desert/range land, you couldn't ask for a more beautiful and peaceful setting. Althoug I am a local, I notice the same RV golfers from Canada and many 'cold' areas in the US show up winter after wintwr and their New Years Eve dance is like a happy reunion each year.
